On Monday 29th May, Jarvey’s Rest Traditional Irish Pub at Muckross Park Hotel welcomed 80 local B&B and guesthouse owners to the season launch of its Irish Night Pub Show. The evening included a drinks reception on arrival and dinner in Jarvey’s Rest followed by the Irish Night pub show.
Speaking on the night Director of Sales & Marketing, Brian Miley said, “This is our 6th season of scheduled Irish Night Pub Shows and each year we have seen the Irish Nights grow in numbers and popularity. In these 6 years we have had over 750 scheduled Irish Nights welcoming almost 50,000 people to Jarvey’s Rest for great food and live Irish entertainment. Guests have come to us from all over the world to experience a genuine Killarney Irish Pub Night here and our thanks to all of you for your recommendations and assistance in achieving this success.”
The Jarvey’s Rest is open from 12.30 daily serving lunch and dinner. Jarvey’s is renowned for its famous Irish Night Show which features a mixture of traditional tunes, rousing ballads and Irish music performed by Onora and dancing performed by Sinseori Dancers. These award winning performers showcase Irish jigs, reels and heart pounding dances. Laced with history, folklore and a truly magical atmosphere a Jarvey’s Irish Night show is one to be remembered.
The traditional Irish pub show is taking place every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday from 8pm throughout the summer season and there will be live entertainment every Friday night.
The Jarvey’s Rest is positioned in a very historic area, in the heart of Killarney’s National Park, just 4km from Killarney town centre and is a landmark location on the amazing Ring of Kerry driving route. The pub is located at Muckross Park Hotel and is famous across Ireland.
